20MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Power Plant in Bavet City, Cambodia is the first large-scale solar (“LSS”) farm project for PESTECH. It was named as LSS Surya to pay tribute to the sun that generates life and energy.
The installation of solar panels that use sunlight as a source of energy to generate direct current electricity guarantees clean energy source and reduces GHGs into the atmosphere. It brings reliable and sustainable power supply to Svay Rieng province, a rural province that is composed of eight (8) districts and subdivided into 80 communes.
The renewable energy injected will contribute positively towards the development requirement of the area in a sustainable way.
Total solar generated by Surya LSS Farm from February 2022 to 20 October 2022 is 26,162,909kWh.
