As part of our CSR initiatives, PESTECH had organized the Medical Camp in Kampong Speu, Cambodia from 2 to 3 June 2018. In this 2-day medical camp, PESTECH had collaborated with Union Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC), His Excellency Hun Many’s Voluntary Medical Team, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre as well as the Government and private healthcare professionals from Malaysia.

The objective of this program was to serve the under-privileged community by providing free basic medical treatment and health education to them. Apart from this, the medical camp also played as a platform for the medical practitioners from Malaysia and Cambodia to share their experience and exchanged their knowledge with each other.

Approximately 2,011 patients living in Kampong Speu province were served by 120 medical professionals (45 from Malaysia and 75 from Cambodia) and 244 volunteers (69 from Malaysia and 175 from Cambodia) during the medical camp. Among the medical services provided were general medical services including basic health screening, Physician, Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G), Dentistry, Paediatric, Psychiatry as well as Ultrasound scan for kidney, bladder, ureter, pelvic and antenatal scan. Patients were also given free prescription and medicine for their illnesses.

Thank you and congratulations to all volunteers from PESTECH!
