This year, Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) once again organised the IEM Engineering Week (IEW) that was held from 20-26 August 2017. The objectives were to enhance and publicise the image of the engineering profession amongst the community in line with the Government’s effort to increase the number of engineers to meet the demand of Vision 2020.
As a Gold Sponsor, PESTECH has participated in the following activities that were organised in-conjunction with the IEW 2017:
a) IEM Engineers Run
The IEM Run was held on 20 August 2017 at the Botanical Garden Kuala Lumpur. PESTECH was represented by eight (8) runners.
b) Engineering Forum
Mr. Lim Pay Chuan, Group CEO was invited as a speaker for the Engineering Forum that was held at Monash University, Petaling Jaya. With the topic, “Career and Future Prospect of Engineers”, Mr. Paul Lim shared his experience and achievement as an engineer to the students from the Klang Valley’s secondary schools.
