The current outbreak of COVID-19 global pandemic has created an unprecedented challenge to the global community. With an escalating number of confirmed cases, hospitals are under great pressure, especially in terms of shortages medical supplies as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) suits that includes face masks.

Upholding to our PESTECH CARE Program objective on providing support to health-care related care and efforts, PESTECH contributed the PPE suits and face masks to aid the medical professionals to combat COVID-19.

A total of 6,500 PPE suits and 105,000 face masks were contributed via the following agencies:

  • Selangor State Government, Malaysia
  • National Disaster Management Agency Malaysia (NADMA)
  • Union Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC)
  • National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP)

We believe this initiative is helpful, especially enabling more PPE suits and face masks for our frontline medical professionals, who are at extremely high-risk of exposure of COVID-19. With this, we hope that our medical professionals can be kept safe, so they can continue the care that so many needs.
