Responsibilities
Accountant
• Prepare full set of accounts and relevant schedules/listing/reconciliation; including daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company’s policies, accounting standards and related statutory and tax requirements.
• Liaise with project team to prepare project related schedules to ensure accuracy of the information provided for closing and reporting purpose.
• Prepare company forecast and budget and review project budget.
• Oversee day to day accounting and treasury functions.
• Handling tax matters including transfer pricing documentation and to highlight all the issues of the companies to Group on timely basis.
• Manage month end closing to meet the deadlines and deliverables are completed on time.
• Review all the staff claim, petty cash claim and close advance submitted and process the claim on timely basis.
• Any other assignments given to you by your superior from time to time.
• Any other positions appointed by the Management (IMS - Integrated Management System) as per memo/supporting documents/information announcement.
Assistant Group Controller
• Preparation of consolidated accounts of the group and ensuring the accounts are prepared accurately and timely for reporting.
• Review full set of accounts of subsidiaries.
• Responsible for the preparation of audited Group financial statements and audit exercise.
• Compiling and presenting reports, budgets and financial statements.
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
• Liaise with auditors and relevant parties for statutory and legislative requirement.
• Ensure compliance to internal control, MFRS, Bursa requirement, Companies Act and FEA ruling.
• Develop and improve accounting and finance department.
• Prepare monthly division report and reports as required from time to time.
• Any other assignments given by superior from time to time.
Requirements
• Must possess at least Degree in Accounting or any Professional Certificate ie. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA and etc.
• Required language English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum four years working experience in accounting field.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and able to meet demanding deadlines.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Points.
• Candidate with audit background would be an added advantage.
• Experience in SAGE accounting system would be an added advantage.
