The scope of this project is design and construction of about 300 km of 500kV overhead transmission line, double-circuit from Lao border in Preah Vihear province to EPP substation: - Construction of total 690 ++ towers including river crossing towers crossing Mekong River, testing and commissioning.
The main components of the project are:
1. Approximately 299.52 km long double circuit transmission line from East Phnom Penh Substation to Cambodia-Laos border.
2. ACSR Bittern 1272 MCM, 45/7, 689mm2, Quad conductor per phase Steel Lattice Structure Design.
3. 48 fibre opgw conductor to use as the overhead ground wire and telecommunication.
4. ACSR Skunk 100mm2 overhead ground wire.
