In line with our CSR objective, PESTECH have initiated a “Road to Better Education Environment” to bring value to the rural school community. We believe that engaging in CSR programs will help to bring the awareness of corporate responsibility in the community. It also helps to bring value through PESTECH’s existence and creating a positive impact on our employees, community and its peoples.
PESTECH believes that everyone should have live life with dignity no matter what state they are in. Thus, we continue our support to Hospis Malaysia by participating as Platinum Sponsor in their 19th Annual Charity Treasure Hunt that was held on 28 November 2020.
Through this sponsorship, we hope that it will facilitate Hospis Malaysia in providing the professional palliative care to patients and families living in this country as well as supporting the nation via palliative care education, training and advocacy initiatives.
The current outbreak of COVID-19 global pandemic has created an unprecedented challenge to the global community. With an escalating number of confirmed cases, hospitals are under great pressure, especially in terms of shortages medical supplies as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) suits that includes face masks.
Upholding to our PESTECH CARE Program objective on providing support to health-care related care and efforts, PESTECH contributed the PPE suits and face masks to aid the medical professionals to combat COVID-19.
PESTECH always envision to bring value through our existence and creating a positive impact on the society that we operate in. In order to achieve this goal, we aim to strengthen our relationship with the local community by extending a helping hand to them through our Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) initiatives.
PESTECH participated as a Platinum Sponsor in the International Automation and Control Enhancing Innovation Competition (“ACEiC”) 2019 as part of our CSR initiative to support an activity that contribute towards nation building.
ACEiC is an annual competition organised by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (“IET”) since 2017 in collaboration with local universities to provide an excellent platform for students to share their creative ideas and innovative products from their research and development (“R&D”) in automation and control related areas.
This year, PESTECH once again participated in the IEM Engineering Week 2019 as the Gold Sponsor. The event which was organised by Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) aimed to enhance and publicise the image of the engineering profession amongst the community in line with the Government’s effort to increase the number of engineers to meet the demand of Vision 2020.
As part of our CSR initiative under Community Category, PESTECH participated in Bursa Bull Charge again for this year as an Ongole Sponsor. This event was organised by Bursa Malaysia with the aim to raise funds to promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship as well as to improve the environmental and the lives of underprivileged communities.
14 employees from various department represented PESTECH for all three categories, i.e. 1.5km CEO Run, 3km Corporate Challenge and 5km Corporate Challenge.
