PESTECH had participated in the ASEAN Economic Community (“AEC”) Business Forum hosted by Bangkok Bank on 14 November 2019 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre, Central World. With the theme “2020: The Age of ASEAN Connectivity”, this forum aimed to assist Thai investors and entrepreneurs to navigate a changing world and to prepare for opportunities and challenges in ASEAN.
Our Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Paul Lim Pay Chuan was one of the speakers for a panel discussion that explored the topic of “ASEAN CEO’s Vision 2020 & Beyond”. Besides Mr. Paul, the other speakers were Mr. Aloke Lohia, Group CEO of Indorama Ventures PCL, Mr. James Wu, Group President for Southeast Asia of Huawei, China, Mr. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group CEO of Frasers Property Limited, and Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, CEO of Charoen Pokphand Group and Chairman of the Executive Committee of True Corporation PCL.
As one of the ASEAN leading players in Infrastructure Sector, Mr. Paul shared his vision towards the ‘Seamless ASEAN’ and ‘Digital ASEAN’. He also gave his perspectives on the infrastructure and energy development in ASEAN as well as his insights on how to overcome regional challenges and capture opportunities to sustain the business growth.
The business forum was attended by more than 1,200 participants worldwide.
